Glenn Stainton

Glenn began his career in 1980 managing oil field construction projects and then progressed into the field of automated building control systems finally settling into the field of building and construction management with BC Buildings Corporation and the City of North Vancouver.  During his tenure at the City of North Vancouver, Glenn successfully completed the City’s largest ever construction projects to date, and worked as the General Manager of Operations of the Lonsdale Energy Corporation, playing a pivotal role in the integration of alternative technologies to LEC’s operations.

Glenn also acts as Project Manager for the City of North Vancouver’s large construction projects and has recently managed to completion the construction of the new award-winning City library, and recently City Hall.  Glenn possesses a combination of experience in the fields of building automation, facilities, engineering and project management.

Over the past 25 years, Glenn has acquired his experience from a mixture of governmental and private sector positions in the fields of consulting engineering, facilities management and building automation.  Glenn’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology (Ryerson Polytechnic Institute, 1979) and a MBA (City University, Seattle, Washington, USA, 1998).
